The Swedish Railway Museum’s station records date Boxholm’s opening to public traffic to 1874. The station building is described as a two-storey masonry building based on a developed version of the Linghem model. The ironworks’ own railway history is also represented at Boxholms Bruksmuseum, which displays an electric locomotive from 1905 formerly used within the works. [3] [4]
